Collect a punnet from the Patch, head off to pick your own strawberries, then return to have them weighed and paid for.
We know it’s tempting to sample a strawberry or two as you make your way along the rows, but please wait until your fruit has been weighed and paid for before tucking in.
As a small family-run farm, the honesty of our visitors helps us keep strawberry picking affordable and the fields open for everyone to enjoy. Every punnet supports the time, care and hard work that goes into growing the crop.
Thank you for respecting our picking rules and the work that goes into growing every strawberry.
Yes please. Strawberry availability can change with the crop, the weather and how busy the fields have been, so we always recommend checking our web page or social media for opening days and availability before setting off.
On normal strawberry picking days, there is a small £1 entry fee per person on the gate which is non-redeemable against your strawberry purchase.
Yes, when available. We often have pre-picked strawberries in the shop, subject to the crop.
We do our best to make the farm as accessible as possible. As a working farm, many areas are in the fields, so ground conditions can vary depending on the weather. Some wheelchairs and buggies are more suitable than others.
We always enjoy welcoming visitors with accessibility needs, so if you’d like to get in touch ahead of your visit, we’re very happy to talk things through.
Yes, we have toilets on site, including a baby changing facility.
Unfortunately not, with the exception of registered assistance dogs. As a working farm with livestock and food crops, we’re unable to allow dogs on site.
Before You Set Off
Please check our social media for the latest strawberry availability, opening details and event updates. As a working family farm, timings can shift with the season, and we always do our utmost to keep visitors updated as quickly as we can.
